Program Length: 2 weeks on-site intensive, plus in-community time.

Program Outline: The following topics will be covered in this training:

• Introduction to Drones

• Drone piloting (basic level)

• Drone and device care

• Use of drone mapping app

• Drone mapping procedure and checklist

• Use of drone map processing software

• Post-processing, and use of drone maps for farm and community planning

Requirements:

Drone mapping is technical, and requires a high level of competency with digital devices. We will use phones, tables, desktop computers, and drones. We will also use a variety of software.

Trainees will be expected to sign out a drone, and create a drone map in their community or on their own as part of the graduation requirement.
